I've started blogging more lately, and that includes participating in a number of great blog tours and events. Right now, there's hundreds of great giveaways during the Gratitude Giveaway Blog Hop. My site is giving away a $30 Amazon giftcard, and there are tons of other great prizes for people who love to read. The blog hop runs until November 25.

This blog hop is hosted by I Am a Reader, Not a Writer.

Happy November everyone! It's that time of year again, where the air gets cold, the leaves fall from the trees, and my car has a layer of frost on the windshield! One of the best things about November is the start of the NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month.

The NaNo is an annual writing competition that challenges writers to complete a novel in 30 days. I am always working on something, but I love the spirit of this event and the opportunity and freedom it gives to writers.

The NaNo is followed almost immediately by Amazon's Breakthrough Novel Award Contest, which is a great opportunity for unknown writers to get their work noticed.

You will start seeing information about the 2013 Novel Awards sometime in January. Please take the time to check out both of these amazing competitions, and spread the word. It's so important to so many writers, especially those who are just starting their careers.

In other news, I finally joined Facebook. I know, it's taken a long time... but my husband thought it was a good idea and I have to admit that sometimes he's right! I hope you will stop by my new Facebook page and say hello.

Hello everyone;
I'm sorry the purchase links for Vosper's Revenge haven't been posted yet, I've been assured by my publisher that we'll have them within the next 48 hours or so. The nook version will probably be available first, with the Kindle edition available about a day later. That's due to Amazon's slower processing time.

Thanks for your understanding,
Kristian

_This year brings the promise of new challenges and also a lot of hope. I know that a lot of people struggled financially last year and the holidays always help me remember what's really important--namely, our health and well-being, and the well-being of our loved ones. I've spent almost the entire month of December with family and, although everyone knows that sometimes we "butt heads" with our loved ones, it still makes me feel very blessed to be surrounded by people that I love.

Now, I've been getting a lot of questions via e-mail about the third book in the "Dragon Stones" series. "Vosper's Revenge" is the last installment in the three-part Dragon Stones Saga, and will be released in April 2012. The paperback and the e-book edition should be released about the same time, (within a few weeks of one another).

I'm currently working on my next series, The Chronicles of Tallin (due out 2013), and I'm having a lot of fun with the character. Initially, Tallin wasn't going to have his own series, but he ended up being a fan favorite (and he's been one of my favorite characters from the very beginning) so I knew I had to give him his own books. I hope you all enjoy reading about his adventures as much as I enjoy writing about them.

2011 is over, and I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2012!

_Sorry I haven't had the chance to post in a while, but, like everyone else, I've been busy with the holidays. I hope all of you are enjoying time with family and all the great food. I know that my pants are certainly tighter this month!

Anyway, I'd like to announce the title listing for my next series, the Chronicles of Tallin. Although it hasn't been yet been decided whether this will be a trilogy or a four-book series, the titles for the first three books have been announced. I posted the cover image for book one a few weeks ago, and you can see it on my home page. Here are the titles:

1. The Balborite Curse (2013)
2. The Rise of the Blood Masters (2013)
3. Kathir's Redemption (TBA)

Right now, my publisher is doing the final touches on Vosper's Revenge, Book Three of the Dragon Stones Saga. I'll make sure and post an update as soon as I get more information about the last book in that series.

It's been a great year.
Dragon Stones and The Return of The Dragon Riders have both been doing very well on the Epic Fantasy bestseller lists, and I have all of my fans to thank for that. Happy Holidays, everyone!
